| Our Mission The Mission of Charlotte Community Health Clinic is to provide acute episodic and chronic disease medical care to uninsured, low-income, 19 and older Mecklenburg County individuals who lack access to care. This service is provided through a culturally diverse, volunteer-based organization with emphasis on education, training and community outreach. Vision To improve the health of uninsured adults in Mecklenburg County by providing quality care in a free health clinic setting. Values We strive to provide quality medical care with the same dignity and confidentiality afforded to insured or self-paying patients. We strive to be flexible in structure in order to meet the needs of both the working poor and volunteers who donate their time. We strive to provide a cost-efficient, financially responsible service, which relies on community support and utilizes professional volunteers. We recognize the uniqueness of each individual and will treat each patient with kindness, patience, empathy and respect. |
